Cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they're cancelled there. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tact → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tact → Cancel.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. A free trial cancelled before it ends is never charged.

Refunds

Refunds go through the store you paid. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, follow Google Play's refund steps.

Restore Pro on a new phone

Open Tact, open the Pro screen and tap Restore. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.

Delete your data

Tact has no accounts. In the app, Settings → Delete all data removes every chat and setting on your phone. Our server keeps only usage counters tied to a random app ID, never your chats, and they expire on their own; email us if you want them removed sooner. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

If a read or a reply is wrong or inappropriate, use Settings → Report a reply in the app, or email us.
